Wind advisory issued for New York from Thursday to Saturday – gusts may reach 50 mph

A wind advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 12:47 p.m. valid from Thursday 3 p.m. until Saturday 1 a.m. for Monroe, Wayne, Cayuga, Oswego, Livingston, Ontario, Cattaraugus and Allegany counties.The weather service adds, "South winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph
