61yearold Sullivan County man arrested for drug dealing

SULLIVAN, Ind. (WISH) — A 61-year-old Sullivan County man has been arrested for drug dealing and possession of drugs, according to Indiana State Police.
On Tuesday, Indiana State Police troopers, with the assistance of the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Department, attempted to serve an active
Sullivan County arrest warrant in Carlisle. The arrest warrant was for Oscar McCammon, 61, of Carlisle, for possession of methamphetamine. Investigators located McCammon at his residence, and the arrest warrant was served without incident. At that time, investigators believe that there was possible criminal activity taking place at the residence. A search warrant was then applied for and granted for the residence in Carlisle.
During the execution of the search warrant, investigators seized 92 grams of methamphetamine, a pound of marijuana, a hypodermic syringe, six prescription pills (legend drug), 15 firearms, cash, and drug paraphernalia.
McCammon has been arrested and preliminarily charged with dealing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, violent felon in possession of firearm, dealing a controlled substance, possession of hypodermic needle, possession of legend drug, and possession of synthetic urine.
“Officers went beyond just executing an arrest warrant and took drugs and guns out of Sullivan County, making it a safer community,” said Lt. David Cox, district commander for Indiana State Police Putnamville District.
