Surveillance footage taken from an Exposition Park-area gas station captured the moment Nick Reiner was arrested the same day his parents were found dead in their Brentwood home on Sunday. Video shows Nick Reiner, who is accused of killing his parents, director Rob Reiner and photographer Michele Singer Reiner, enter an ampm store near the intersection of Exposition Boulevard and Vermont Avenue. There, he was seen roaming through the gas station store before getting in line at the register with a bottled beverage in hand. The video of Reiner’s arrest was recorded Sunday night near the intersection of Exposition Boulevard and Vermont Avenue. His parents were found Sunday afternoon in their bedroom and pronounced dead by emergency personnel. Although law enforcement has not disclosed a cause of death, a source close to the Reiners told NBC News that the famed director and his wife had stab wounds. Los Angeles police confirmed Nick Reiner’s arrest in a statement on Monday. He now faces murder charges in connection with the case, including a special circumstances allegation of multiple murders and an allegation that the suspect used a knife. Nick Reiner appeared in court in Los Angeles on Wednesday. His arraignment was pushed back until Jan. 7, the second time it was delayed since he was arrested.
