Surveillance footage taken from an Exposition Park-area gas station captured the moment Nick Reiner was arrested the same day his parents were found dead in their Brentwood home on Sunday. Nick Reiner, 32, wore jeans, a black and green sweater with white stripes across, black shoes, a hat and a red backpack at the time of his arrest. The video of Reiner’s arrest was recorded Sunday night near the intersection of Exposition Boulevard and Vermont Avenue. His parents were found Sunday afternoon in their bedroom and pronounced dead by emergency personnel. Although law enforcement has not disclosed a cause of death, a source close to the Reiners told NBC News that the famed director and his wife had stab wounds. Los Angeles police confirmed Nick Reiner’s arrest in a statement on Monday. He now faces murder charges in connection with the case, including a special circumstances allegation of multiple murders and an allegation that the suspect used a knife.
