San Diego weather: More dense fog, warmer tomorrow
Dec 17, 2025
A DENSE FOG ADVISORY is in effect until 10am for coastal communities. Visibility will be less than 1/4 mile at times. Make sure to drive slower, keep your distance and only use your low beams. Fog will lift and clear around 10am but some areas may remain hazy for most of the day.
Expect mostly su
nny skies this afternoon with similar daytime highs as yesterday, which is still unseasonably warm. Today we will have a persistent onshore flow. Tomorrow our winds turn offshore, warming temperatures inland into the 80s. Tomorrow and Friday will be the warmest of the week.
The onshore flow returns this weekend cooling us back down. We stay dry over the weekend with rain to our North. Next week however, a larger storm system will extend farther South giving our area rain chances beginning Tuesday night. As of now, rain chances look to extend into Christmas Eve and Christmas Day across San Diego county. Stay tuned for more details. . .
