H.S. Girls Basketball Wrap: Hopewell Valley stops Hightstown in opener

HOPEWELL TWP. — Megan Kurian’s 12 points and 10 more from Paige Ritter helped the Hopewell Valley High varsity girls’ basketball team open its season with a 52-32 win over Hightstown Tuesday in Colonial Valley Conference Colonial Division play.
Delainey Ross and Katherine Reinhart added nine p
oints apiece for the Bulldogs.
Hayley DeKok tied Kurian for the game high with 12 points to lead the Rams.
