RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A man was found dead with gunshot wounds in Richmond's East End Tuesday evening. At 7:07 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 16, officers with the Richmond Police Department responded to the 2300 block of Fairfield Avenue for the report of a person down. When officers arrived, they found a man who was unresponsive with apparent gunshot wounds, according to police. Officials pronounced the man dead at the scene. Police continue to investigate.
