Sheriff’s deputies swarmed a Lakeside neighborhood Tuesday afternoon, seeking two suspects after a man was shot, sheriff’s officials said. The shooting was reported about 3:20 p.m. near Ashwood and Mapleview streets, Lt. Jason Phillips said. The victim, 22, was reportedly shot in the leg. Philli ps said the department’s Special Enforcement Team — often referred to as the SWAT team — was called as deputies searched for suspects. Nearby schools were briefly on lockdown during the search. The department posted on social media that it was looking for two Latino youths between 16 and 20 years old. One was described as 5 feet, 6 inches tall with a medium build, wearing a black sweatshirt with a logo on the front, black sweatpants, black and white shoes, and a hat. The second was described as about 5 feet, 8 inches tall, also of medium build, wearing a gray shirt, black pants and no shoes.
