On Tuesday, the Colorado Springs Switchbacks revealed their full schedule for the 2026 season.  As reported last week, the Switchbacks will open the season at El Paso Locomotive FC on March 7 before hosting Las Vegas Lights FC in the club’s home opener March 14.  The Switchbacks will be ou t of town until April 4 for their second home match against Lexington SC. They’ll be off the following week before hosting Monterey Bay FC on April 18. On April 25, the Switchbacks will play their first Prinx Tires USL Cup, formerly the Jägermeister Cup, match at Phoenix Rising FC.  Rising will be the Switchbacks’ opponent on the Fourth of July at Weidner Field. On Aug. 8, the Switchbacks will travel to Rhode Island FC for the first match between the two sides since Colorado Springs’ 3-0 win over RIFC in the 2024 USL Championship Final.  Colorado Springs will close the season Oct. 24, hosting reigning Western Conference Champion FC Tulsa.
