CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are conducting a death investigation in east Charlotte after a juvenile died Tuesday morning. CMPD says officers responded to an assist MEDIC call on Gwynne Hill Road around 7:40am. The scene is located between Albemarle Road and the Charles T Myers Golf Course. Upon arri val, officers located a juvenile who was not breathing, according to a news release. Investigators say the juvenile was transported by first responders to a local hospital prior to being pronounced dead.
