Springfield food drive gathers 2,100 pounds for families in need

The City of Springfield, Hampden County Sheriff's Office, and NAACP Springfield Chapter organized a regional food drive that collected over 2,100 pounds of food, providing 1,799 meals to local families in response to rising food insecurity.
