Investigators due to the chase that ended when the vehicle crashed into a pond, 16 year-old Brandon Nunez died at the scene. “This was a tragic incident that could’ve been avoided if he hadn’t tried to flee. Deputies saved the lives of four people – unfortunately, one could not be saved. Justice was served when the driver took responsibility for his actions today. Sadly, a life was lost due to his irresponsible decisions the day of the incident,” Sheriff Lott commented.
