Aurora Police on Monday announced they have arrested a 17-year-old boy in the November shooting death of a 22-year-old man . Police arrested the boy, who is not being identified because he is a minor, on charges of first-degree murder after deliberation and unlawful possession of a handgun, accordin g to a release from the Aurora Police Major Crimes Homicide Unit. He is being held without bond pending his first appearance in court. The 22-year-old man was fatally shot on Nov. 19 near the intersection of East 17th Avenue and Beeler Street in northwest Aurora. When police patrol officers responded to reports of gunshots, they found the man, later identified by the Adams County Coroner’s Office as Jibreel Nile, wounded on the ground. He was taken to a local hospital, where he died from the gunshot wounds, Aurora police said.
