Park City Municipal is launching an expanded seasonal shuttle to the Bonanza Flat Conservation Area beginning Friday. The shuttle will aim to provide reliable winter access to high-elevation trails and will operate Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 8:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. through April 19, we ather permitting. The route will run with a 30-minute frequency coordinated directly with Park City Transit’s 9 Purple Route. Shuttle riders will board at Empire Canyon Lodge, which is accessible by taking the 9 Purple Route from the Old Town Transit Center to the Montage stop, then walking to the designated pick-up zone. The shuttle can accommodate up to 11 riders per trip, along with four fat-tire bikes, cross-country ski gear and snowshoes. Dogs are allowed with muzzles. The initiative is funded through paid parking revenue collected during the summer season, the city said, adding that the effort is made possible through collaboration with partners including Deer Valley Resort, Mountain Trails Foundation, Utah Open Lands and Talisker.
