Fog lingering across much of Bay Area Monday
Dec 15, 2025
(BCN) -- Monday in the Bay Area calls for most areas in the region to get patchy and dense fog, especially inland, with cloudy skies, according to forecasters.
Daytime highs will be mostly in the high 50s on the coast, low to high 50s around the bay, and in the high 40s to high 50s inland, the Nati
onal Weather Service said. Overnight lows will be mostly in the mid to high 40s.
Fog and low clouds are expected to linger across much of the Bay Area on Monday, keeping temps cool and making clearing slow and uncertain. Forecasters say Monday's weather will be shaped by a mix of inland Tule fog and coastal stratus, with conditions similar to Sunday.
Low clouds are expected to hang on through much of the day, especially in the North Bay valleys, Contra Costa County, the Santa Clara Valley and parts of the San Mateo Peninsula, where dense fog advisories are in effect through 11 a.m.
