CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Distribution day for the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program is coming up Tuesday, December 15th. Hundreds of volunteers are now racing to organize gifts, toys and bikes for local families in need. 100 volunteers a day give their time to make sure each Angel on the tree is a ccounted for. When it is all done, each family will roll through the warehouse and head home with a Christmas many feared they wouldn’t be able to afford.
