Mentor Public Library to assist with genealogy research

For those who need assistance researching family historym Mentor Public Library’s Lake Branch is offering personalized assistance with genealogy research on its Tracer Tuesdays.
Library patrons can receive help with genealogy questions and navigating genealogy databases during these one-on-one app
ointments, according to a news release.
To make sure the library can provide as much assistance as possible, patrons are asked to:
• Make sure they know what they want to learn during the appointment
• Submit their genealogy guidance request when they make an appointment
• Bring any required passwords, including those for pertinent devices and databases.
Appointments are by registration only. Sign up by calling the Lake Branch at 440-257-2512.
The first Tracer Tuesdays will be from 1 to 3 p.m. on Jan. 6 and 27. Registration opens two weeks before the appointed date. All appointments will end promptly at the end of the session.
The Lake Branch is located at 5642 Andrews Road in Mentor-on-the-Lake.
