(KRON) — An earthquake rattled in Sonoma County Sunday afternoon, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS). A preliminary 4.2-magnitude earthquake was reported near Glen Ellen at around 3:30 p.m. USGS later confirmed that the earthquake was a 4.0 magnitude. The earthquake’s de pth was listed to be 1.9 kilometers (or about 1.18 miles), according to USGS. Map: United States Geological Survey (USGS) The earthquake was felt in Kenwood, Rohnert Park and other parts of the North Bay. Within about half an hour, two more quakes followed, a 3.1 and 3.4-magnitude earthquake, according to the USGS. This marks the fourth earthquake in the region.
