(KRON) — An earthquake rattled in Sonoma County Sunday afternoon, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS). A preliminary 4.2-magnitude earthquake was reported near Glen Ellen at around 3:30 p.m. USGS later confirmed that the earthquake was a 4.0 magnitude. The earthquake’s de pth was listed to be 1.9 kilometers (or about 1.18 miles), according to USGS.
