(KRON) — An earthquake rattled in Sonoma County Sunday afternoon, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS). A preliminary 4.2-magnitude earthquake was reported near Glen Ellen at around 3:30 p.m. USGS later confirmed that the earthquake was a 4.0 magnitude.

pth was listed to be 1.9 kilometers (or about 1.18 miles), according to USGS.

The earthquake was felt in Kenwood, Rohnert Park and other parts of the North Bay.
Within about half an hour, two more quakes followed, a 3.1 and 3.4-magnitude earthquake, according to the USGS.
