PULASKI COUNTY, KY. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Nancy Volunteer Firefighters helped deliver a baby on the side of the road in Pulaski County, according to officials. Fire officials say crews responded to assist a mother who went into labor and gave birth on the side of the roadway before she could reach a hospital. Firefighters provided immediate care to both the mother and newborn until emergency medical services arrived and transported the family for further evaluation. Officials report both the mother and baby are doing well following the delivery.
