In what could have been a Super Bowl preview, the Broncos had a super ending on Sunday.
After falling behind 23-14 early in the third quarter, the Broncos stormed back for a 34-26 win over the Green Bay Packers at Empower Field at Mile High and clinch a playoff berth for the second straight seaso

It was the 11th straight win for the Broncos (12-2), their longest since an 11-game run in 2012. They are now in command of the race for the No. 1 playoff seed in the AFC. With New England (11-3) losing 35-31 to Buffalo, Denver would have to lose at least two of its last three games to not have the top seed.
The Broncos won their 11th straight home game, the NFL’s longest current streak. Bo Nix came up big by completing 23 of 34 passes for 303 yards and four touchdowns.
Late in the third quarter, Packers star pass rusher Micah Parsons suffered a knee injury on a non-contact injury while going after Nix and was lost for the game. Parsons was down on the field for several minutes and players on both teams got on their knees. The players wished Parsons the best when he got up, and he was helped off the field by two athletic trainers.
The loss of Parsons demoralized the Packers (9-4-1) as they fell apart in the second half. After they took a 23-14 lead on a 40-yard run by Josh Jacobs early in the third quarter, they got the ball back with 12:55 left in the quarter and had a chance to tack on more points.
But Packers quarterback Jordan Love threw a long pass down the middle to Christian Watson that was intercepted on a diving grab by star cornerback Pat Surtain at the Denver 29. Watson was lost for the game on the play with a chest injury.
After that, the Broncos took over. They got a 14-yard touchdown pass from Nix to Courtland Sutton to cut the deficit to 23-21 and a 23-yard TD pass from Nix to Troy Franklin on the final play of the third quarter to give Denver the lead for good at 27-23. A two-point conversion run by RJ Harvey failed.
The Packers closed the deficit to 27-26 with 10:55 left in the game on a 37-yard field goal by former Denver kicker Brandon McManus. It was his fourth field goal of the game.
The Broncos went up 34-26 on a 4-yard touchdown run by Harvey with 7:27 left in the game.
In the first half, the Packers didn’t punt in taking a 16-14 lead. But the Broncos held them to three field goals by McManus.
The Packers took a 6-0 lead on a 53-yard field goal by McManus midway through the first quarter and a 26-yard boot by him early in the second quarter.
The Broncos then came back to take a 7-6 lead midway through the second quarter on a 20-yard pass from Nix to wide receiver Michael Bandy. It was the first career touchdown for Bandy, elevated from the practice squad Saturday to replace Pat Bryant, out with a hamstring injury.
The Packers took a 13-7 lead on a 14-yard touchdown pass from Love to Jacobs with 4:29 left in the second quarter. The Broncos went up 14-13 on a 5-yard touchdown pass from Nix to Lil’Jordan Humphrey with 1:56 left in the quarter. But the Packers took a 16-14 lead on McManus’ 35-yard field goal with two seconds left in the half.
The Packers didn’t waste any time taking a 23-14 lead on a 40-yard touchdown run by Jacobs on their first possession of the second half. But on their next possession, after Denver went three plays and out, Love threw the long ball that was intercepted by Surtain. That changed the game.
