Colorado Springs police saw gun violence, robberies and fatal crashes last week, among other incidents, with law enforcement making 312 arrests in El Paso County. From Dec. 7 to Dec. 13, the Colorado Springs Police Department posted 10 blotter entries to its public database of incidents approved for release. Here is a recap of those entries: On Sunday, Dec. 7, police were dispatched to the 1900 block of South Chelton Road for a shooting. Officers learned a victim was shot twice after suspects in a light colored minivan fired a shotgun in each of his arms as they were driving by. No arrests have been announced. On Monday, a rollover crash near North Carefree Circle and Inspiration Drive left one woman dead. A 20-year-old driver was ejected during a crash and was trapped underneath an involved vehicle. The other driver was taken to a hospital with minor injuries, and the female driver succumbed to her injuries. Police say the deceased driver was not wearing a seat belt. On Tuesday, two adults and one juvenile were arrested after being found in a car stolen earlier that day from the 1000 block of South Chelton Road. Police allegedly attempted to stop the stolen vehicle and it fled the scene. Officers made contact with it shortly after using a grappling device. The two adults, Eric Diaz, 24, and Alejandro Ruiz, 28, were arrested and face several charges including motor vehicle theft. The juvenile was arrested on an outstanding domestic violence failure to appear warrant. On Thursday, police were dispatched to a shooting in the 1600 block of South Nevada Avenue. Upon their arrival, they found one man with a non-life threatening gunshot wound. Police say this was an isolated incident and allegedly stemmed from a dispute over money. On Friday, just before 2 a.m., police were dispatched to North Tejon and East Boulder streets for a shooting. When they arrived, they found one victim with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Five minutes later, police were notified that another victim with non-life-threatening injuries arrived at a hospital. No arrests or further details have been announced. On Saturday, a male suspect entered a Wells Fargo Bank in the 1800 block of South Nevada Avenue and demanded money from the teller. Police did not say if the suspect successfully took any cash, but they did say he left the bank in an unknown direction. More incidents at a glance: On Sunday, Dec. 7, a vehicle was struck by a train while attempting to cross the railroad crossing at Conejos and Las Animas streets. Police say the train crew saw the vehicle and began slowing, and nobody was injured in the crash. On Monday, Rebecca Gucker was arrested after assaulting and threatening two separate parties, several hours apart from each other. In doing so, she allegedly struck a police cruiser and fled the scene. Gucker faces several felony charges. On Tuesday, a male victim was found with several blunt force wounds outside a residence in the 4000 block of Hollow Road. The victim was taken to the hospital with severe but not life-threatening injuries and no suspects have been taken into custody for the assault. On Saturday, a two-vehicle crash near Palmer Park and North Academy boulevards left one man hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
