Troy Podmilsak wins secondstraight big air World Cup, punching first Olympic ticket
Dec 13, 2025
Parkite freeskier Troy Podmilsak won his second-straight big air World Cup on Saturday in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
The 21 year old’s jumps landed him a 182.5 score, just enough to edge out teammate Konnor Ralph in second place. Australia’s Luca Harrington rounded out Saturday’s podium
in third place.
With Podmilsak’s two World Cup wins this season, his first coming a few weeks ago in Secret Garden, China, he qualifies for the Milan Olympics in both big air and slopestyle. He’ll join his U.S. freeski teammate Alex Hall and others.
17 year old Avery Krumme was the highest U.S. finisher in fourth place on Saturday in Steamboat Springs on the women’s side. Fellow Parkite Rell Harwood finished in eighth.
