On Saturday at 1:16 p.m. the National Weather Service released an updated winter weather advisory valid from 10 p.m. until Sunday 1 p.m. for Southern Westchester."Total snow accumulations between 2 and 4 inches expected, locally 5 inches possible," describes the weather service. "Light snow develops after 6pm, becoming steady after 10pm. Snowfall rates up to 1/2' hr likely overnight into Sunday morning, resulting in visibilities reduced below 1 mile at times and snow covered roads.
