It’s always a blue Christmas at Upland’s Dodger House

Visitors listened to Elvis Presley’s “Blue Christmas” playing from speakers outside the Abadie family home’s extravagant holiday display.
They gazed upon more than 5,000 blue and white lights decorating the Upland house.

How to save money on your Christmas and holiday decorations
The decorations at the so-called Dodger House celebrate everything about the Los Angeles Dodgers, including World Series wins, famous past and current players and the team’s late broadcaster Vin Scully.
The Abadie family has been using a Dodgers theme since 2004. It’s been featured on television and as far away as Japan. A few Dodgers players have even visited to see the spectacle for themselves.
The family, which begins decorating in November, creates all the decorations and lights the house nightly.
The home is at the corner of Havenhurst Way and Mildura Avenue, off Benson Avenue, north of the 210 Freeway in Upland.
