Two men were hospitalized on Friday night after they were hurt in two separate shootings that were just half an hour apart in North Philadelphia, according to the police department. Léelo en español aquí The first shooting happened on the 3000 block of York Street around 8:09 p.m. on Dec. 12, police said. A man in his early thirties was shot several times on the right side of his body, officials reported. Officers took him to a nearby hospital where he was placed in critical condition. A second shooting unfolded around 8:41 p.m. on Friday on the 2600 block of West Somerset Street, according to officials. A man in his late twenties was shot one time in his thigh and was taken to a nearby hospital by officers, police said. He was listed in stable condition.
