(KRON) -- Police said a man was arrested after allegedly checking car door handles in the parking lot of Workday, the cloud-based software company headquartered in Pleasanton. Pleasanton police said they were alerted by Workday security about the attempted theft-in-progress but did not disclose th e date and time of the incident. Police said after officers located and detained the man, they discovered drugs and related paraphernalia on him. Officers also learned the suspect had several outstanding warrants, including drug-related offenses, trespassing and resisting arrest. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail where he awaits charges. "We appreciate the quick action by Workday security in reporting what they observed," police said in a social media post Friday.
