HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A teenage boy is in critical condition after a Friday afternoon double shooting in Henrico County. At about 3:55 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 12, an officer with the Henrico County Police Division was near the intersection of Mechanicsville Turnpike and E. Laburnum Avenue when they were approached by a driver, who told the officer he had been shot. The driver's vehicle had three people inside: himself, another man and a teenage boy. Both the driver and the teenager had been shot, while the other adult was unhurt, per police. The teenager and the driver were taken to an area hospital for treatment. While the driver's injuries are not considered life-threatening, the teenager is in critical condition.
