FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — The Fall River Police Department said it arrested a man in connection with a crack cocaine investigation on Friday. 36-year-old Leon Shelby was charged with trafficking in cocaine. Police said that that Shelby was detained outside his residence, and that he was being G PS monitored for an accessory after the fact to murder charge in connection with a 2023 Brockton shooting. A search allegedly found multiple packages totaling to just over 92 grams of suspected cocaine and crack cocaine, multiple digital scales, packaging materials, a drug ledger, and more than $6,000 in cash.
