Authorities arrested a man who allegedly killed his father-in-law and critically wounded his mother-in-law in a double stabbing at their Brooklyn home, officials say. The son-in-law, identified as Albert Torres, was arrested Friday afternoon, police said. The 35-year-old was charged with murder a nd attempted murder in connection to the killing of Juan Manuel Galicia and the attack on his wife. Police said they were initially called to the East 69th Street home in Bergen Beach around 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Both Galicia, 49, and his wife had been stabbed multiple times and were taken to One Brooklyn Health-Brookdale University Medical Center in critical condition. Galicia was later pronounced dead at the hospital. His wife was still recovering from her injuries at the hospital. Attorney information for Torres was not immediately available.
