Artist Studio Preview: Shel Pink
Artist Shel Pink will host an open studio preview for her exhibit, “The Density of Delight,” from 2-5 p.m. on Saturday, at 4554 Forestdale Drive, C-12. Shel Pink, a lifetime creator, studied art history at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor, where she also
worked in mixed media and photography. While living in Los Angeles, she worked as a photographer and established a clothing line before founding SPARITUAL, a pioneering vegan beauty brand she led for 20 years. She also published a book, “Slow Beauty: Rituals and Recipes to Nourish the Body and Feed the Soul” in 2017, before returning to visual art in 2019. For information, visit shelpink.studio.
Park City Singers Continues Its Christmas Concert Run
Park City Singers, the locally based, non-audition choir, will perform the second of two “Songs of Light and Wonder” concerts on Saturday at Park City Community Church, 4501 N. S.R. 224. The singing begins at 7 p.m., and tickets are on sale now at parkcitysingers.org.
Park City Treble Makers Community Holiday Concert
Park City Treble Makers, the all-woman, a cappella chorus, will perform a community concert at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 14, at Park City Community Church, 4501 N. S.R. 224. Advance tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children ages 12 and younger. Day-of tickets will be $18 at the door. Advance ticket payments can be made via Venmo: @PCtreble-makers. Hanukkah Menorah Lighting at Montage Deer Valley
Montage Deer Valley, 9100 Marsac Ave., will honor the Festival of Lights with Hanukkah Menorah lightings every evening from Sunday to Dec. 22. The ceremonies, which are free and open to the public, begin at sundown. For information, visit montage.com/deervalley/experiences.
Park City Wine Club Holiday Wine Dinner
Park City Wine Club will host its Holiday Wine Dinner at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 16 at the Waldorf Astoria, 2100 Frostwood Blvd., which was just named the No. 1 Resort in the Mountain West. Attendees, ages 21 and older, will enjoy four courses from award-winning chef, Stuart Roger, paired with five elegant wines. Vegetarian options are available. The cost is $177, which includes tax, gratuity and complimentary valet parking. For designated drivers or those not drinking, the cost is $155, which will include three non-alcohol wines — real wine with the alcohol removed. Space is limited.
