A motorist has died after plowing head-on into a median late Thursday near 63rd Street Beach in the Jackson Park neighborhood. Officers responded to the crash around 11:50 p.m. after the driver struck a median while going south in the 6300 block of South Coast Guard Drive, Chicago police said.
