The Universal Studios Hollywood calendar will be bursting with seasonal events from Fan Fest Nights to Halloween Horror Nights to the Christmas winter holidays as the movie theme park looks ahead to 2026 and rolls out its lineup for the year ahead. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will host Butterbeer Season in March, April and May and the Back to Hogwarts event in August and September. (Courtesy of Universal) Universal Mega Movie Summer will return to celebrate upcoming blockbuster films and cinematic anniversaries at the Hollywood theme park. Last summer the Mega Movie festival celebrated the Jaws, Back to the Future, Jurassic World, Fast Furious, How to Train Your Dragon and Wicked film franchises. Dead Exposure: Death Valley maze during Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood. (Brady MacDonald/SCNG/Orange County Register) Halloween Horror Nights 2026 will return with a new lineup of haunted mazes and scare zones along with the Terror Tram on select nights from Sept. 3 through Nov. 1 at Universal Studios Hollywood. Horror Nights 2025 featured marquee mazes dedicated to Fallout, Friday the 13th, Terrifier, Five Nights at Freddy’s and Poltergeist. New mazes for 2026 are expected to be announced during the summer. The separate-admission Horror Nights event is not included with daily admission to Universal Studios Hollywood.
