Two Chicago police officers were in fair condition at a hospital after a traffic crash in the Loop early Thursday. Around 1:30 a.m., the officers were responding to a call and going east in the 500 block of East Lower Wacker Drive when they tried avoiding another vehicle and struck a raised center m edian, police said. Two officers were suffered "minor" injuries and were taken to an area hospital in fair condition, officials said.
