After 5 year chase, Central NY deer hunter gets his trophy ‘Monarch’ buck

After an epic, five-year chase, Adam Kopytowski, of Verona, finally got “the Monarch,” as he calls the eight-year-old trophy buck he shot with his .308 in Oneida County during regular deer season. The buck had 14 points and a notched a green score of 176.5.
