On Wednesday at 2:41 p.m. the National Weather Service released a winter weather advisory in effect until Thursday at 1 a.m. for Western Schenectady, Western Albany and Western Greene as well as Montgomery and Schoharie counties."Additional snow accumulations up to 1 inches to 3 inches," can be expe cted according to the weather service.
