(KRON) – One of the biggest names, and people, in NBA history is bringing a special event to the Bay Area ahead of the big game. Shaqille O’Neal will host the eighth rendition of “Shaq’s Fun House Presented by Credit One Bank” at San Francisco’s Cow Palace on Feb. 6, two days before Sup er Bowl LX in Levi’s Stadium at Santa Clara. Created by the NBA Hall of Famer, the event is part carnival, circus and music festival. O’Neal is expected to take the stage as his musical alter-ego DJ Diesel. Other musical acts include DJs Tiësto and Disco Lines as well as rapper T-Pain. “From day one, I wanted Shaq’s Fun House to be the party for the people. A lot of Big Game events feel like they are only for VIPs. He was in San Francisco during NBA All-Star Weekend earlier this year, assisting with TNT’s “Inside the NBA” live broadcasts from Pier 48 and even drafted the winning team in the NBA’s first All-Star mini tournament.
