(CNN)– Women who wish to move up the corporate ladder could be in for more of a challenge.
Consulting firm McKinsey and Company and Women-At-Work Advocacy Group says women are under-represented at every level so they asked companies about their commitment to “women’s career advancemen
t”.
54% said they placed a high priority on it while 21% said they give little to no priority to advancing women.
In addition, companies’ stated commitment to the broader idea of gender diversity has been declining since it hit a high of 88% in 2017.
