New Jersey twins arrested for allegedly threatening to shoot ICE officers

Two brothers from New Jersey were arrested for allegedly making online threats against the Department of Homeland Security, the agency announced Tuesday.
Ricardo Antonio Roman-Flores and his twin brother Emilio Roman-Flores were arrested on charges stemming from posts where officials claim the t
wo threatened to “shoot ICE on sight.” The threats also allegedly targeted DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin.
The brothers were arrested Tuesday morning by DHS and the Absecon Police Department SWAT Team.
“Let this be a warning to anyone who dares threaten or attack our brave law enforcement officers,” said Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons. “We will find you, we will arrest you, and we will prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law.
Emilio Roman-Flores faces charges of unlawful possession of an assault weapon, possession of prohibited weapons, conspiracy terroristic threats, criminal coercion, threats, and cyber harassment. His brother is being charged with conspiracy terroristic threats.
