The menu has been retooled, this time focusing on vegan brunch dishes.When it opens: Thursday, November 6Where it is: 404 NE 28th AvenueLearn more: Revived Vegan Restaurant Epif Brings Brunch to Kerns Edan Pizza What it is: Edan MacQuaid opened his first Portland-based pizza shop, Edan Pizza, in the former Mod Pizza location in downtown. He’s previously served pies at RedRocks and 2 Amys in Washington D.C., before landing in Portland. MacQuaid described his pies as “close-to Neapolitan,” per the Portland Business Journal, because it bakes longer and at a cooler temperature.When it opens: Mid- to late-OctoberWhere it is: 204 SW YamhillLearn more: DC pizzaiolo to open pizza shop in downtown Portland Bar Nouveau What it is: After successful pop-ups at Gracie’s Apizza this spring, chef Althea Grey Potter and Elizabeth Singer (and joined by Heather Wallberg) opened Bar Nouveau in St. Johns.
