WKTY Cares recently donated to Logan Middle School, and their growing Technology Education Department. The program has been using an outdated MakerBot Replicator 3D printer, that limits what students can design and produce. To help modernize the program they are hoping to obtain the Bambu Lab P1S 3 D Printer with AMS 2 Pro Combo, which includes the built-in filament dryer system. The WKTY Cares donation covers the purchase of this new 3D new printer, and the necessary supplies to get it up and running in the classroom. This upgrade will provide students hands-on experience with modern technology, used in design and manufacturing. It will help them develop real-world problem-solving and production skills, and give them the opportunity to take their digital ideas and turn them into working prototypes and projects!
