Police flooded into a northeast Colorado Springs neighborhood early Tuesday morning after they learned that a man was found with severe blunt force trauma. Officers found the man bleeding outside a residence in the 4000 block of Hollow Road just after 4:30 a.m., according to a Colorado Springs Po lice Department blotter entry. The man had wounds all over his body and was hospitalized with severe but non-life-threatening injuries. No arrest was announced, but a large police presence was in the residential area near Austin Bluffs Parkway and North Academy Boulevard after officers learned the assault may have taken place inside a home. When officers attempted to contact people inside the home, no one answered, prompting them to call the Police Department’s tactical enforcement and assault units.
