(KRON) — A woman is dead and a man is hospitalized in critical condition following a failed murder-suicide attempt in Redwood City, according to the Redwood City Police Department. Police found the couple unconscious in a car with gunshot wounds to their heads on the 1300 block of Seaport Bouleva rd at 12:02 a.m. Sunday. 4 men shot in San Jose, 1 dead: PD Paramedics responded and the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The man was taken to a local hospital for his injuries. “The preliminary investigation indicates the parties are married and were reportedly experiencing marital difficulties,” Redwood City PD said. “Evidence at the scene suggests the male shot and killed his wife before attempting to take his own life.” Police found a gun at the scene and collected it as evidence.
