ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO) – Gifts are now being distributed as part of Allen County’s Toys for Tots program. The program, which was suspended in Allen County last year as part of nobody stepping up to run the program, has returned this year. MidWest America Federal Credit Union and its Assistant Vice President of Human Resources, Andrea Ainsworth, led the program.  More than 100 local businesses came together to collect donations from the community this year, bringing in over 6,000 toys. 21 Alive News reports that those toys are making their way to families this weekend.
