Chicagoans can expect warmer temperatures this week after more snow and tricky travel conditions Sunday morning.The National Weather Service forecast two to six inches of snow and issued a winter weather advisory for most of the Chicago area until 9 a.m. Sunday, but the area is expected to warm up b
y midweek.The National Weather Service forecast highs of around 38 degrees Fahrenheit Tuesday and Wednesday, warm enough to melt some of the snow that accumulated over the weekend.The additional snow add to an already snowy season, when the area recorded the most snow on any November day on record last month. So far this season, 17.1 inches of snow has fallen at Chicago O'Hare International Airport, where the National Weather Service measures precipitation.Monday is forecast to be partly sunny with a high of 24, while the rest of the week is expected to be less sunny but warmer. A chance of snow returns Thursday and Friday with highs in the 20s.Colder weather is set to return next weekend, with Friday night's low predicted to be around 4 degrees and Saturday's high to be14 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
