Increasing clouds into weekend, wintry mix with snow potential Sunday | Dec. 5, 2025

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — After a bright finish to the workweek, cloud cover will settle back into our area into the first weekend of December. Then, we’re tracking multiple systems that will look to bring both rain and snow into next week.
Friday night: Increasing clouds with lows in the mid
to upper 20s.
Saturday: Mainly cloudy and below normal with highs in the mid 30s. Be sure to bundle up if you’re heading to any sporting events tomorrow.
Sunday: We’ll track our next weather system into Sunday with a wintry mix on the table. Latest model trends have been a slightly more north system track, which would put central Indiana in more of a mixed precipitation scenario as opposed to snow accumulation. Light snow accumulation of up to a couple of inches, nonetheless, is possible especially north of I-70 where there is a better chance for the precip type to stay all snow. This system is also trending faster with a timeline of Sunday morning into early afternoon.
Highs only in the low 30s.
7-Day Forecast: Sunday’s system leads to temperatures falling back into 20s Monday. Then, we’ll warm right back up into midweek next week. Highs by Wednesday will sneak close to the 40s, but we’ll also track another system from the northwest into Wednesday as well. This system will cause winds to turn a bit breezy Tuesday and Wednesday. We may have another system from the northwest scoot through late next week.
