RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Virginia State Police seized roughly 245 pounds of narcotics and 10 guns during investigations from Nov. 19 through Dec. 2. From Nov. 19 through Dec. 2, Virginia State Police, in partnership with federal and local agencies, recovered 10 guns, valued at $5,500 and 505 control led substance pills. During that period, Virginia State Police seized a total of 245.3 pounds of narcotics, which denied the revenue of $3.38 million. The following narcotics were included: Cocaine: 20.5 pounds Marijuana: 172.6 pounds Methamphetamine: 39 pounds Psilocybin: 2.9 pounds Ketamine: 2.3 pounds Fentanyl: 4.6 pounds Fentanyl pills: 505 THC edibles: 24 pounds THC vapes: 3,748 Police also seized $22,541 in cash. In addition, Virginia State Police received 18 gaming-related tips, making for 1,971 total to date. Police also received 26 new human trafficking tips, totaling 1,372 to date.
