The adult and child who were killed Tuesday in a fiery crash on Highway 87 in San Jose have been identified. Family members identified the victims as Ivana Balistreri and her young daughter Lilliana. “This has changed my family’s life forever,” Ivana’s sister, Francesca Alexander, said . “We are absolutely shattered. I can’t even put into words the pain that we feel in this loss.” The crash, which also left at least two people injured, happened at about 10:49 a.m. Tuesday in the northbound direction of the highway near Curtner Avenue, the California Highway Patrol said. Two Tesla vehicles, a Lexus and a Toyota Sienna were involved in the crash, the CHP said. Three of those vehicles – both Teslas and the Lexus – caught fire. Ivana and Lilliana were passengers in the Lexus. Relatives have set up a GoFundMe page, but what the family wants most is more information about the crash. They hope speaking out publicly will spur anyone with information or possibly video to come forward. “Any information would be helpful to just kind of piece together what happened,” Alexander said. “It may provide closure.
