He may be the most recognizable voice in futbol. Soccer fan or not, you know that famous “goooooool” call from Telemundo Deportes’ Andrés Cantor. The Argentina native will be doing play-by-play for matches on both Telemundo and Peacock during the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Cantor had his cell phone recording during Argentina’s winning penalty kick in the 2022 World Cup. The historic call got him recognized all over the world, especially in his home country. “I was walking the streets of Buenos Aires and people will go, ‘Cantor, Cantor, you made us cry,'” he said.
