INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A person was killed in a shooting on the city’s east side Thursday, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. Around 6:46 p.m. Thursday, IMPD officers responded to a report of a person shot at 5614 E. Washington St. That is the location of Josephi ne’s in Irvington, a women’s clothing store in the Irvington neighborhood on the city’s east side. Officers arrived and found a person with gunshot wounds. The person was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators did not immediately provide any additional information on this incident.
