CHARLOTTE, N.C. – CMPD is investigating after one person was shot and killed in west Charlotte on Thursday morning. Around 8:15 a.m., officers responded to the 4800 block of Tuckaseegee Road near Browns Avenue. Upon arrival, police said they located a victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The vi ctim was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. No arrests have been made at this time. The incident is under investigation.
