Pamela Price is once again running for Alameda County District Attorney, a seat she was removed from in a November 2024 recall election. In a news release Thursday, Price’s office said she will reaffirm her commitment to people-centered justice, equal accountability and restoring public trust i n the DA’s office. Price scheduled a campaign launch news conference for noon Thursday. After Price was ousted from office, Alameda County supervisors appointed Judge Ursula Jones Dickson to replace her. Dickson was sworn in Feb. 4. When Price took over the office in 2023, she became the first African American woman to hold the county’s top prosecutor job.
